(Biblical and practical advice below.)

I was talking to my Mister recently about how life just feels….. hard, right now. Like, really hard. Harder than I think life SHOULD feel. And WAY heavier.

And to be fair, there has been a lot going on in my life. Some, I’m transparent about. Some, though, is just private. There’s a
Bible verse I love that says that BLESSINGS will chase me down and take me over. (Deut 28:2.)

But um…. let me be honest and say that while I’m VERY blessed….

** My business is booming in unprecedented ways, my family and I are all healthy, I am loved and cherished, I love my home, my community. I have the BEST of friends. I am a Nammy. I have my cousins, the BEST of Aunts. (Shout out to Darlene Woolard Biggs who has been way more than “just” an Aunt to me. happy “big” birthday!) My grandmother is still with us. **

So, yeah I’m blessed, but it certainly doesn’t feel like BLESSINGS are what’s chasing me. 😊 It feels like something else. lol…

When life gets heavy and tough, I always ask the following:

Does this CHANGE my destiny? Does it change what I’m after in this life?

So far, this answer has been a resounding NO.

Once that’s answered, I have to ask, WHAT POWER / TIME / SPACE will I give these current circumstances?

Because — you know — we have to do the human thing. We have to show up, do the things, grieve the things, blah blah blah. This takes time and energy, so I give it a time frame. (Side note: there’s no deadline on true grief, but you can draw a line in the sand between living AS grief itself and living WITH grief, but still actively living.)

This morning, in my prayer time, God revealed to me that i was entering every day with the leftovers from yesterday. i was carrying SOOOO much into each day, even as a greeted the sun, and prepared for a new day… i have carried the YUCK of many yesterdays into today.

So, I committed to NO LEFTOVERs.

**note: Throughout this article, I will mention “solutions” that YOU may love, or sell. I want to go on the record and say that ALL of them have their place. ALL of them can be useful…. IN THEIR PROPER place. So, please don’t throw THIS baby out with the bathwater.**

Of course I sometimes hear that my stuff didn’t work for someone or isn’t working for someone. MOST often in secret, as if they’ll somehow disappoint me if they don’t have consistent wins.

(I AM disappointed, but not in THEM. I’m ALWAYS on hand, ALWAYS in my member’s corners. And there is ALWAYS something we can do to turn things around. This post will detail the VERY SPECIFIC ways, the SMALL “little” things that keep people — even WOW members — from reaching that $100K, $150K mark.)

I ALSO hear from my members who are making $150K a month, quietly, under the radar, in simple at home business. Or the one who quietly just “mentioned” that due to my help, she quit her job, built a thriving business and bought her dream farm… using WOW principles and only working part time. (She’s single, too. No “man money.”) I hear from the ones for whom it finally clicks, and the money flow is turned on (and in the right direction.) I hear from the part time coach who makes $65k a month… and is considering letting her website go. (I told her to keep it.)

Sometimes I wish I was a more exciting person, maybe then I’d have bright shiny object after bright shiny object to whip out when people are struggling.

Oh, THAT didn’t work? try this. Still nothing? No sweat, THIS is brand new. Try that.

But the thing is,
BORING as it might be,
business success
which OF COURSE means MONETARY success
(profit, not just sales)
is predictable and replicable.
and it IS based on CORE principles that do not change.

So I want to share why “my stuff” might not work for you and also invite you into one of my MOST successful programs for free. No strings attached.

And even if you’re not a member of WOW, so you don’t “know” my stuff, it’s possible YOU are not making the money you want — AND DESERVE — in business. If so, keep reading.

You can go and chant an affirmative mantra somewhere
or work with a therapist to clear old traumas
or heal this chakra or that chakra…
(again, they all have their place)
BUT
as a woman who has BEEN actually broke,
as a woman who has NO back up money
not even a $250 limit credit card when I began my business
I can say with authority:

If you do NOT lock in,
practice,
rely on,
master
AND MAKE PART OF YOUR EVERY DAY
the principles of business…
you will never FULLY have monetize your business.

So, when people say “my stuff”
doesn’t work for them,
I look for ways they may have tried to “cheat” the rules.

(full disclosure: It’s NOT my stuff any more than gravity is my stuff. I know the RULES of selling, marketing, promotion AND positioning… and I follow them.)

Here are some “little” cheats that cost business owners BIG money.

💥 They THINK about consistency. And they ARE consistent… for a while. 😊 So, they go on again and off again…. and wonder why DEPTH isn’t building.

?? What if you treated a relationship like that? On again, off again… hot and heavy and then cold and dark? Yeah… the same result happens in your business.

Consistency
OVER TIME,
matters.

Sometimes it’s a matter of keep going. But not always.

💥 They are PSUEDO-connecting with their market. I have LONG said, “She who knows her market most intimately WINS.” I stand by that to this day. But connection takes YOU actually showing up and SOMEHOW engaging with your market.

Here is just ONE LITTLE way you can take GREAT effort, and still “cheat” on the connection bit of creating cash:

Prescheduled, software-generated conversations. I’m talking about all of it, the immediate message responses, the “pretend I’m live” webinars, anything where it LOOKS like an effort to connect, but
YOU
ARE
NOT
THERE.

(Again, no hate mail. I’m not saying these things don’t have their place, I’m saying that if you want more money… you have to be willing to CONNECT, vs. “simulate” connection.)

Again…
?? Prescheduled sex is sometimes a necessity (moms of young kids anyone??) and that is totally fine. It works. BUT what if I pre-scheduled it and then instead of showing up, I just handed my Mister some battery-operated male masturbatory aid?

Sure… copulation may happen… lol
but not connection.

💥 You are ALMOST Authentic. lol…

Examples: 1) you have an incredible idea for an email or for a post… but — of course — you turn to Chat GPT to actually write it.

or

2) You are struggling with something but you always look polished and happy and SUPER excited when you show up. (It’s OKAY… actually REQUIRED to be human. NO ONE is giddy all the time.)

or — brace yourself for this one —

3) You are selling a product
promising a result
that you do NOT know how to create.

Like maybe you’re selling some coaching container for success in a certain area, but your own life / business / marriage / whatever is a MESS in that area. You are a woman of integrity… your integrity WILL get in the way of you effectively selling something you KNOW you shouldn’t sell.

💥 You are doing damn near anything you can to avoid sales conversations. 😊

Look I get it.
I KNOW that famous person said that your funnel would be ALL you need.
It’s just not true.

NOTE: Funnels, AI, bots, a dedicated social media person… ALL of these are tools to create LEVERAGE. They are NOT to be relied on if you are just starting out or trying to push past that $100K mark.

If you want more money,
spend more time actually selling to people.

This can be done via email (as is my preference) or via social message… but it should be done 1:1 until you are no longer hurting for money. INVITATIONAL MARKETING is STILL a badass skill. People LOVE to be invited to join you. There is nothing wrong with putting an offer in front of someone and saying, “I just opened the doors on this and here’s why I think you should join.”

BUT don’t bother doing this if you aren’t willing to literally spend a bit of time getting to know them so you and ACCURATELY point them in the right direction.

Intimacy, connection = cash.
Distance = a DISMISSED offer.

Speaking of distance…

💥 You may be making things too complicated, creating unnecessary distance between you and your own income / sales. When someone is NOT making money, I take them through THIS process:

WHAT MUST HAPPEN for you to get paid?

Here’s a common answer, once I pull it out of them….but stay with me while I show you the MANY steps of using LIVE trainings to sell your stuff.

(Again, note: I actually USE live trainings. BUT if you are under $100k, $150K in your business, this should be a SUPPORT strategy… supporting your invitational marketing / sales conversations.. NOT as a stand alone strategy.)

1) HOPEFULLY your target market will see that you are doing a live training.
2) HOPEFULLY, they’ll remember to show up and have the time to watch the entire training.
3) HOPEFULLY, they’ll pay attention and stay until your pitch.
4) HOPEFULLY, they’ll be at home with credit card in hand and excited to click that link and buy.

I’m being a bit facetious of course, but a LOT can go wrong here. They don’t know you’re going live, or they get busy and forget. Or they catch you (YAY!) but they’re doing something else and so they MEAN to come back and watch the replay…. but in the frantic madness of social media, they forget. They could listen haphazardly and not get to your pitch. Or they could be listening while in the car, but not be able to buy while driving.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You can literally spend tens of thousands of dollars to hire a separate coach for every part of this process… one to help you be seen, one to capture email addresses so you can remind them that you’re going live, another to script your training so you can keep people on and engaged, another to build your offer and then another to create a “slide deck” for your offer…

But my point is this…
I like to LIMIT anything I have to HOPE for,
anything I can’t control.

A SIMPLE sales process is this:

1) Create offer you love and are excited about.
2) Make list of 50 people who ABSOLUTELY should join you for said offer.
3) Send 50 SEPARATE emails to these people with a personal note about why you thought of them and INVITE them to either BUY NOW and / or hit reply to ask you questions.

ALL OF THIS is up to you. No hoping. No guess work. No algorithms.

You can supercharge it, of course,
with scheduled emails,
live trainings or webinars,
social media posts… the works…
but the ACTUAL selling actions
have already been taken by you.

Guys, I STILL do this with every launch. THIS is good business.

HACK: Reduce your dependence on ANYTHING you do not directly control.

💥 You may have too big of a nut to crack, meaning your overhead is too big. This often leads to two things:

1) You might push yourself to sell big packages because you need big, fast money…
or
2) You might have a desperation energy that repels money.

HACK: Wealth is created when you generate more income than you need. BOTH ends of that equation are pliable. You can generate more and you can need less.

It troubles / baffles / amazes me to see the growing deluge of women giving away their power…. not to “the man,” but to ANY variety of excuses.

Timing.
Genetics.
Bad Mom. Sneaky Uncle.
Hard times.
Industry woes.
Economic trends.

Bottom line: We live in a world of Cause & Effect. This is JUST truth, THE MOST empowering of Universal Laws. So, if you want a specific reality (EFFECT) to be YOUR reality, you must be willing to BE the CAUSE of that thing happening.

Yes, woman…
it’s up to you.
And it’s always been up to you…
so this world you see around you —

the man,
the house,
the credit score,
the bank balance,
the friendships,
the standing (or no standing) within your industry.

Yes, yes, yes… THIS is the world you created.
YOUR persistent thoughts, beliefs and actions.
created what you now see.

And if you want something different,
it’s up to you to CAUSE something different to happen.

You are FAR more powerful
— YES, even in “that ” circumstance,
whatever that is for you —
than you are giving yourself credit for.

And maybe that’s because if you ADMITTED that you ARE the cause in your own life, you would have to change some things. Maybe if you admitted (to yourself) how powerful you are, you’d have to let go of some of those excuses you’re clinging to so hard.

Look, in life… shit happens. No one has to remind me of that.
I have BEEN living this reality for what seems to be too long. I’ve suffered tragic loss and so has nearly everyone around me. My family has lost three people in less than 2 months. I’ve seen untold suffering that I cannot explain. Grief held me by the throat for longer that I wanted to admit. An aloneness that I’d never felt showed up and stayed for too long. Deaths. Illness. Unspoken challenges. Fears. Rejection. Betrayal. ALLLL of it. And there SEEMS to be no end in sight.

This is INCREDIBLE news, because whatever you want in your business, you can LITERALLY “trigger” it to occur.

NO matter WHAT you want in business…

— more income,
— more invites,
— more fame,
— more respect,
— more leads….

Maybe you want to have people approaching YOU instead of you approaching them? Maybe you want to shorten your sales cycles or lessen the need for you to travel? Maybe you want to shift your income from trading dollars for hours to something more leveraged? Maybe you want the money to come in eVEN if you can’t show up pimping your stuff all day? Maybe you want to see REAL money vs. LITTLE money… finally.

WHATEVER YOU WANT in business
can ABSOLUTELY
be created,
by you.

Further, it can be TRIGGERED to happen,
i.e. CAUSE — EFFECT.
YOU can take specific actions
to create a specific result.

Don’t get it confused or more complex than this.
There is ALWAYS something you can do… today.

❌ Pay to play media. (Stop pretending you didn’t know you paid $XXXX to be featured in that article. Woman it SAYS “sponsored.” Just yuck.)

❌ Pay to publish books or anthologies. (I LIKE anthologies but am not into vanity publishing. Also, I’ve just never paid to be associated with others. I earn my way in to elite circles… as an equal, not as a client.)

❌ Been a fan girl for literally AN-Y-ONE. As my Mom told me, “they put their pants on the same as you…. one leg at a time.”

❌ Like for Like / Follow for Follow campaigns. Follow me if you want. I’ll do the same. But these numbers RARELY have ANYTHING to do with sales numbers. (I routinely sell more MONTHLY than those with 250K TikTok Followers or 1 M Instagram peeps.) Buyers are DIFFERENT than LURKERS. You attract them differently and sell to them differently.

❌ Fought for the attention of the masses. I show up and speak with power and passion. I don’t need the masses to make millions and NEITHER DO YOU.

❌ Bought ads. (Ever.) You can EARN attention or pay for it. I’m old school. I could definitely have been here “faster” by buying ads. I have nothing against it for you. It was NECESSARY to use grit instead of gold… because when I began, I had no money to buy ads. And when I did, I no longer needed it. 😊

❌ Created ANY dependence on ANY media (social or otherwise) that I do not own and control. Bottom-line: I do not trust these platforms to have my best interests at heart. I USE these platforms as tools and MOSTLY in ways that few others (maybe no one) teaches. Hit me up for my special report on my own personal Syndication System.

❌ Dressed up or softened the truth because I didn’t trust my people could take it. I work with badass women. Period.

❌ Presented top line income parades and promises. What you KEEP of your income matters. A LOT of “industry leaders” in this space are operating at a pretty significant loss, MONTHLY. If you’re UP for that, follow them. Buy their stuff. Follow in their footsteps. i’m not about debt. I like financial freedom.

❌ Pimped my lifestyle as a selling factor. Why? My lifestyle would bore most of you to death. 😊 I LOVE this life. It is of my own unique design. I’m as (financially) rich as I’d ever want to be. But it’s not sexy. I don’t love to travel. I don’t live extravagantly. My best days are at home… listening to the birds chirping, writing. Dinner with my husband. But it’s about freedom for me.

My point in all of this is simple:

MUCH of what you think is necessary to succeed today is not necessary… There are INFINITE ways to create financial success as an entrepreneur. You MUST look at your business as a custom build and built it around YOU.
